Obituary
DORT, Thomas R. - 64, 4 Greenhill Crt., Antigonish, died December 24, 1994, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Swaine) Dort. He resided in Port Hawkesbury for a number of years and operated the Causeway Smoke and Gift Shop. For several years he operated Farmer Tom's Market, Antigonish. Surviving are his wife, the former Rose MacDonald; daughter, Karen, Toronto; brother, Joseph, Brampton, Ont. He was predeceased by a son, Paul. Cremation will take place under the direction of MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. today in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in parish cemetery at a later date. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
