    Arthur Vienneau

    Arthur Vienneau, 92, of Foyer O' Bons Soins, Shediac, and formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born January 15, 1917 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Sylvain and Justine (Melanson) Vienneau. Arthur was a retired lobster fisherman and purchaser for National Sea Products, a past member of the Fisherman's Loan Board, past president of the Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club, and a Veteran of W.W. II. He is survived by is wife of 68 years, Delphine (Gaudet) Vienneau, a daughter, Suzanne (Daniel Brun) of Dieppe; a son, Joseph (Kathy) of Winnipeg; two grandchildren: Luc and Nathalie. A sister, Lina and two brothers: Adrice and Lionel predeceased him. Resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday morning from 9:30 until departure (10:25).     Joseph A. Thibodeau 1933 - 2007 RICHIBUCTO, NB

    At his residence, Tuesday, December 4, 2007, Joseph A. Thibodeau passed away suddenly at the age of 74. Born on March 21, 1933 in Dupuis Corner, NB. He was the son of the late Edmond and Lina (Vienneau) Thibodeau. Retired, Joseph had been a Mason by trade. Joseph enjoyed chatting with his friends at Tim Horton over a cup of hot beverage, he will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Diana (Johnson) Thibodeau; two daughters, Bernice Thibodeau (Arice Caissie), Aldouane, NB and Marise Thibodeau (Allison Hudson), South Branch; two sons, Ron of Moncton, NB, Lloyd (Charlene Fox), Moncton, NB; two sisters, Laurraine Bourgeois (late Melase), Sackville, NB, Dora Boudreau (Ola), Haute-Aboujagane, NB; four brothers, Henri (Rita), Moncton, NB, Gerard of Moncton, NB, Roger (Claudette), Moncton, NB, Yvon (Laurette), Haute-Aboujagane, NB; also by several nieces and nephews. Joseph is predeceased by one brother, Lionel (1996). Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home in Richibucto (523-4252), Friday, December 7, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.     Lorraine Bourgeois
    1929-2009

    Lorraine Justine Bourgeois, age 80, of Sackville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in Cap Pele she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Lena (Vienneau) Thibodeau.
    Lorraine was employed with the Drew Nursing Home and Fawcett House for 7 years as a cook. She was a member of the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church and a member of the CWL. She was also a singer and former member of the Sackville Glee Club. Lorraine was an avid seamstress, an excellent cook, enjoyed making crafts, reading, and spending time with her family.
    Lorraine will be sadly missed by a son, Acquila (Deborah), Sackville, 5 daughters, Sonia (William) Buchanan, Leonette (Robert) Nelson and Maurise Levesque, all of Sackville, Yvette (Wallace) Ward, Bedford, NS and Michelle (Bernard) Goguen, Cap Pele, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, Henry (Rita), Gerard, Roger (Claudette) and Ivan (Lorette) Thibodeau, a sister Dora (Ola) Boudreau , as well as sister-in-law Dianne Thibodeau.
    She was predeceased by her husband Melas Bourgeois; brothers, Acquila, Lionel and Joseph, as well as great granddaughter Lauren.
    Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, a vigil (Parish prayers) will be held at 8:30pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11am. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.

    HENRI THIBODEAU
    1931-2019
    It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Henri Thibodeau, of Villa du Repos, Moncton on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019, with his special nephew, Normand Boudreau by his side.
    Born in Moncton on October 13th, 1931, he was the son of the late Edmond and the late Lina (Vienneau) Thibodeau.
    Henri was formerly employed as a nurse attendant for 42 years at the Lyndhurst Rehab Lodge in Toronto, a centre for those paralyzed due to spinal cord injuries.   After retirement he moved back to Moncton where he enjoyed doing volunteer work with the Dumont Hospital, Headstart, Maison Nazareth and others. Henri was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Counsel # 11985 and a member of the Club d’Age d’Or Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix.
    Diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2011, Henri maintained his courage and strong faith throughout his illness. He is now finally reunited with his beloved late wife, Rita.
    Survived and sadly missed by his sister, Dora Boudreau (late Ola); his brothers: Yvon (Lorette) and Roger (Claudette); sister-in-law, Dianna; special nephew, Normand Boudreau (Noella); special niece,Linda Mitton (Cecil), as well as many more nieces and nephews.
    Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Richard) in 2011; his sister, Lorraine Bourgeois (Melas); his brothers: Aquila, Joe, Gerard (Nora) and Lionel and also by a very special niece, Janice Boudreau.
    Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm only.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, on Monday, March 11th, 2019 at 11 am.
    Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
    In lieu of flowers, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
    The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at O’ Bons Soins and Villa Providence in Shediac and to Villa du Repos in Moncton for their excellent care and compassion to Henri, most especially during his palliative care.
    Henri will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

    SUZANNE BRUN
    1961-2021
    DieppeNB 
    –Surrounded by her family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at the young age of 60, Suzanne Brun passed away peacefully.  She resided in Dieppe with her husband, Daniel Brun. 
    Born in Cap-Pelé, on June 7, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Delphine Vienneau. 
    Suzanne will be sadly missed by her husband, Daniel; her step-son: Jesse Brun; five brothers-in-law: Mike, Dave, Robert, Mario Brun and Don Murray; a sister-in-law: Annette Brun; two sisters: Nicole LeGresley and Roxanne Vankroonenburgh; two brothers: Victor Vankroonenburgh and George Crossman; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 
    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Simone Murray and Gloria Smith; one brother: Joseph Vienneau; one sister-in-law: Aline Brun and two brothers-in-law: Laurent and Ronald Brun. 
    The family would like to thank the members of the surgical intensive care unit at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. 
    A private memorial will be held at a later date.
