It is with sadness that the family of the late Frances Marie Legere age 108 of Amherst and formerly of River Hebert, Cumberland County announce her passing on Sunday, February 05, 2012 at Gables Lodge, Amherst, NS. Born June 16, 1903 in Lower Cove, raised in Minudie, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Jennie (Des Barres) Terrio and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Frances took training to be a practical nurse and looked after many sick folk in their homes over the years and also worked for Dr. MacIntosh in Amherst. Frances kind and gentle heart allowed her to love everyone equally and without doubt. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jennie Legere, her grandson Michael (Georgina) Sicheri and great grandson Jacob Sicheri all of Amherst.
