BANGOR - Dorothy C. Jenkins, 92, wife of the late Frank L. Jenkins, died Feb. 7, 2003, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born Jan. 18, 1911, in Brewer, the daughter of Cyrus and Sarah (Stewart) Carmalt. Dorothy graduated from Brewer High School and Gilman Commercial School. She was a clerk at Sears and Freese's Department Store for many years. She is survived by a grandson, David J. Hawes of Dedham; a granddaughter, Debra Gordon and husband, Ronald, of Orono; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, Lindsay, Erin and Eric, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara L. Hawes, in 1989; and her husband, Frank, in 1992. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Family lot in Mount Hope Cemetery, at a time and date to be announced by Foley Funeral Service.Dorothy married Frank Leslie Jenkins 28 Oct 1933. Frank was born 24 Dec 1906; died 1992. [Group Sheet]
