    Discrepancy over her parents: Bona gives her parents as Charles Doiron and Francoise Gaudet. S.White gives her parents as Jean Doiron and Anne LeBlanc. White's explanation is that on the 1754-55 census, Joseph, Jean and Pierre Doiron, and Joseph Poirier and Jean (sic for Pierre) Boucher all lived at Aulac. The five families arrived together in South Carolina aboard the Dolphin on November 20th,1755, leading to the conclusion that the wives of Poirier and Boucher were sisters of the Doiron brothers and hence daughters of Jean Doiron and wife, Anne LeBlanc.- note by A.Owen Jan2012

    document from Irene Terrio - name,born in 1721 "aux Mines"(Halifax);upon reaching manhood, he emigrated to Memramcook where around 1742 he married his first wife,Marguerite Hebert. They had three children. In 1755,he fled to the East side of the Memramcook River, just below Dorchester,with his wife and children. He then fled to Cocagne(N.B.) wher his first wife died in 1757. He spent the winter in the Miramichi under unbelieveable conditions...that spring he headed to the Saint John River; two years later, in 1759, he married Marie Doiron. Later in that year they are found in Halifax. Two sons were born in Halifax. In 1768 this family lived at l'Entree , near Halifax and the following year he was at Minudie, from where he emigrated to Fox Creek (Ruisseau-des- Renards) near Saint Anselme,N.B. There his name appears on a tract of land granted to the Acadians of the region on May 29, 1789 by the Government of New Brunswick.

He was taken prisonner threedays after hiswedding and was taken into exile on the brigantine ship "Experiment" (captain Stoddard), while his wife was placed aboard another ship. He was cast ashore at St Chrysostophe (a Haitien Island) where he worked on sugar plantations. He escaped...at New Orleans he met one of his brothers...he travelled up the Mississippi where he heard news of his wife from another exiled Acadian by the name of Blanchard. He met up with his wife;they lived in Louisianna where they had four children(one son was devoured by a wild boar while in his cradle). The family went to Mobile, Alabama where they lived until the Civil war broke. Marie his oldest daug married a Creole named Seignou, in Alabama and gave birth to a daug in 1777 named Rosalie(la vieille Tounie)-she later married Pierre Melanson and died of chicken pox in Minudie at 100 years...Andre eventually came back to Minudie where he said his parents had died.
