    • Obituary

      The death of Marion E. Steeves of Oromocto, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, June 8th, 2007. Born in Sydney, NS she was the daughter of the late Charles and Madeline (Tidmarsh) Oulton and wife of the late Merle R. Steeves. Marion enjoyed her many friends in Oromocto and especially looked forward to the Browse and Brunch at the Oromocto Library. She is survived by her son, Wendell (Heather) of Mill Cove, NB; grandchildren, Merle Steeves (Stephanie) and Candace Steeves all of Fredericton, NB; great-grandchildren, Livia and Julia Steeves of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Ruth Oulton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Merle; her parents; as well as her brother, Donald Oulton. The funeral service will be held from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 11th, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton, NB. Special thanks to Dr. Roxborough and the nursing staff of Med 1 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Marion's honor may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice. www.oromoctofh.com (357-5100).
