Believed to be Daniel Streing ( ca 1654 - ca 1707 ), son of Henry Streing and Marie Babault, married Charlette LeMaistre.
Daniel Streing was a Huguenot and escaped from France following the revoking of the Edict of Nantes. His wife Charlotte LeMaistre was trapped in Paris but eventually escaped. Following a brief stay in England, they immigrated to the New Rochelle/Rye area of New York.
