    Notes
    • From Betsy Innes, Feb 2009: Edna was a big woman, very skilled with her hand's, knitting, sewing, quilting, rug making; a charter member of many organizations, active traveller; strong woman; loved to play checkers with her great-grandchildren. Most of all she knew how to laugh until the tears ran down her cheeks.
Edna's mother died when she was ten years old. Her siblings were 4, 6 and 8 years old. They had some housekeepers until Edna took charge. Edna told of her father taking her for rides in his carriage and of how the dog always got to go along.
