-RO Notes for Charity Bellamy The widow Charity Bellamy remarried a John Bishop who operated an inn Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. When John Bishop died, Charity married for a third time to a Sean Martin, who had been a captain in colonel Winslow's expedition to capture Fort Beausejour in 1755.
-RO Her will, dated 19 January 1782, mentions her son Charles Oulton and her sister Johanna Bellamy back in Devon. This will made under name of Charity Martin. (Deaths, Burials and Probates of Nova Scotians, Vol. 2 Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia.)
