Obituary
Heidi Robken Balzar passed away on February 4, 2010 in a Las Vegas hospital after a lengthy illness brought on by a severe auto accident in 1983 in Lodi, CA. As a young woman, she was full of life and loved her children very much. She graduated with honors from Wooster High School in 1971 and the University of Nevada Reno in 1975. She was active in school politics and served as president of Alpha Chi Omega sorority for two years. She is survived by her children, Robert A Balzar of Las Vegas, Kimberly Wade of Ridgecrest California and Brian Balzar, of Madison Wisconsin, three grand children, Kaylee, Byron and Chase, and, her brothers Stuart Robken, Kenneth Robken and Richard Robken, and sister Debrorah Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Lucille Robken and her sister Patricia.
A celebration of life will be held at The Coney Island Bar at 2644 Prater Way in Sparks on June 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. Please bring memories and copies of pictures to be shared with family and friends. The family requests no flowers but would respect donations to the Make a Wish Foundation.
