Dawna Kay Lewis 1954-2013
Dawna Kay Lewis, 59, of Boundry Creek passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 8th, 2013 at the Moncton Hospital with her loving family by her side. Â
Dawna was born in Moncton on July 6th, 1954 the daughter of the late Willard and Doreen (Sinclair) Weaver. She worked in Homecare and loved working with the elderly, she was a great care giver and helped in making the seniors lives more comfortable. She also loved animals and had a special place in her heart for dogs. Dawna loved looking after others and making sure all their wants were met. She loved her family very much and felt so blessed to see her newest grand babies arrive.  All her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Dawna has definitely left an impression on those she has left behind and she will never be forgotten. "Rest In Peace."
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Graham Lewis of Boundry Creek; son, Gordon Steeves (Kitty) of New Maryland; daughter, Sarah LeDrew (Justin) of PEI and her precious grandchildren, Kyara, Austin, River and Kaylee ; sisters, Vivian of Christina Lake, BC, twin sister- Darla (Jud) of Moncton; brothers, Carvel of Hornby Island, BC, Dana (Carla) of Moncton, Ernest (Susan) of Moncton and Kelvin (Cheryl) of Red Deere, AB; several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by all her extended family and also thought the world of all her fourteen step -grandchildren.
Honouring Dawna’s own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will be having a private graveside service at a later date. Interment will be in the Boundry Creek Cemetery, Boundry Creek, NB. Â
Donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
