  	Obituary WOOD-HICKS, Verna Janet - 59, Northwood Centre, Halifax, passed away October 15, 1996, in QE II Health Sciences Centre, VG Site.  Born in Oxford, Cumberland Co., she was the daughter of Eva (MacDonald) Wood, Cobourg, Ont., and the late John Wood, Oxford.  She is survived by sons, Gregory, Shelburne; Kevin, Bedford; Dana, Sable River; grandchildren, Jonathan, Gillian, Andrew and Paige; brother, Hilbert, River Philip; sisters, Evelyn Simpson, Oxford; Joyce (Mrs. Roy Sherwood), Etta-Mae (Mrs. Brian LeGuard), Cobourg.  She was predeceased by brother, Eric.  Visitation at Allen's Funeral Home, Oxford, on Thursday, October 17, from 7-9 p.m.  Graveside service will take place on Friday, October 18, at 2 p.m. in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  A memorial service is planned for Shelburne at a later date.  Family flowers only.  Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
