  	Obituary HAVERHILL - Mrs. Brenda M. (McDonald) Mattinson, 86, of 96 Lamoille Ave., a longtime Haverhill resident, died yesterday at Hale Hospital following a short illness.  Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, she lived in Chelsea and Greenwood before moving to Haverhill more than 50 years ago.  Mrs. Mattinson was a member of the Women's Republican Club and the Women's Club of Haverhill.  She was also a long-time member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Protestant Blind Guild, all of Haverhill.  For many years, she was employed in several area shoe shops including Ornsteen Shoe Co. of Haverhill.  She attended the First Church of Christ in Bradford.  She was the widow of Guy M. Mattinson and leaves a brother, Randall McDonald, and sister, Belle Millar, both of Prince Edward Island; three granddaughters, Mrs. Gregory R. (Gail E.) DeRoche of Atkinson, N.H., Mrs. Daniel (Cheryl) Daly and Mrs. Gary (Cindy) Cereno, both of Haverhill; three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fidelity Chapter Number 90, Order of Eastern Star, Benevolent Fund, care of Mrs. Mary Mercer, 3 Anne St., Groveland, Mass., 01834 [provided by Gerry Mattinson 21 Sep 2013]
