Arnold Keith Ogden The death of Arnold Keith Ogden of Moncton, NB, husband of Myrtle Elizabeth (McLellan) Ogden, occurred on October 16, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital-Palliative Care Unit. Born in Moncton, September 12, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Keith) Ogden. Besides his loving wife of 52 years, he is survived by his three children; Roxanne Ogden of Saint John Barry Keith Ogden (Debra) of Saint John, Nancy Currie (Dan) of Riverview, NB; his grandchildren Lisa Currie, Andrew Currie, Christopher Keith Ogden, Joshua D. Ogden; his brothers and sisters Ted, Charles, Elayn, Eileen, Lynn, Leona and Veda; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Morris. Arnold was a member of Centenary Queen Square United Church, and was CEO of Moncton Northeast Construction Association (retiring in 1999), Operations Manager for Helly-Hansen of Moss, Norway (Cdn) Ltd. He and his wife owned and operated Ogden's Department Store, Balmoral Court Motel, Marco Polo Gift Shop and three other businesses within Saint John. He was the last General Manager of Manchester, Robertson, Allison Ltd. of Saint John. He was a member of the Simonds Lions Club, Lancaster Minor Hockey and Thistle Curling Club. Arnold was a man who was known for his kind, sincere and genuine character. A service will be held from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Saturday, October 18, 2003, at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens in Moncton, NB. Remembrances made to the Animal Rescue League of Saint John, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. www.brenansfh.com
