C.E. (Ted) Ogden 1923 - 2008 C.E. (Ted) Ogden84 of the Veterans Health Center, Moncton, passed away at hisresidence on Tuesday January 1, 2008, after a lengthy illness. T Tedwas born in Amherst Shore, NS and moved to Moncton at an early age.He was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Keith) Ogden. Tedwas a retired sales rep. at Bristol Myers Canada with 30 yearsservice; he was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church,Riverview and was a long time member of the United CommercialTravelers. He was a veteran of the 4th division Armored Corp. andserved overseas from D-Day to VE Day. He also spent a year in Hollandwith the Occupational Force. He was mentioned in dispatches and was amember of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch #6. In hisearlier years, he enjoyed curling, bowling and traveling. Summerswere spent at the cottage at Pointe du Chene. Ted will be sadlymissed by his wife of 60 years, Ruth (Dodge); daughter, Karen Pond(Doug), Fredericton; sons, Robert (Sandra), Coldbrook, NS; Michael,at home; grandchildren, Jennifer Ayer (Dr. Adrian Kelly), Sackville,NB; Christopher Mitton (Christy Rochford), Halifax; Andrew Mitton(Emily), Haynes Halifax; Jeffrey Ogden (Heather), Calgary, AB;Shelley Carty (Peter), Woodville, NS; Timothy Ogden (Fiona),Coldbrook, NS; great grandchildren, Grace, Bridgett, Nolan, Logan,Sebastien, Thomas, Ella, Lily, Cassandra and Cooper; stepgrandchildren, Angela Pond, Jody Briones (John); Amanda MacNeill(Chad); step great grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, Ethan, Tyler;sisters, Elayne Ayles (late John); Leona LeBlanc (late Rene); LynnOgden, all of Moncton; Eileen LeBlanc (Louis), Montreal, PQ; brother,Charles (Gail), Truro, NS; sisters in law, Joyce and Elizabeth Ogden,Moncton; several nieces and nephews.
