Obituary
Edward L. Bell 1926 - 2008 Edward Bell passed away peacefully with his daughters at his side on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton on January 18, 1926 son of the late David and Clara Bell. Husband of the late Jean (Lewis) Bell. He is survived by four daughters, Nancy Bursey, Valerie (Mike) O'Neill, Ruth (Bill) Gammon and Karen (Terry) Dennis, nine grandchildren; Todd (Danielle) Bursey, Tanya (Derek) Steeves, Meghan O'Neill (Ian Sutherland), Patrick O'Neill, Jarratt Gammon, Travis (Steve) Gammon-Boyd, Ara (Chris) Henry, Corey and Evan Dennis and seven great grandchildren. Edward will also be sadly missed by three brothers, James, Wallace and John, four sisters, Joyce Buzzie, Phyllis Parks, Lillian Payne and Jean Fowler as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, Jean and parents, Edward was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Hill, Vera Fowler and three brothers, Nelson, Dan, Alfred and one grand daughter, Beth O'Neill. Arrangements entrusted with Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530 with visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2008 from the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. Remembrances in Edward's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Palliative Care or a charity of the donor's choice.
