Obituary
Martha Davidson Goldwire Fellows Pinkham, 83, died Saturday (June 2, 2001) at Rowan Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born Dec. 12, 1917, in Macon, Ga., Mrs. Pinkham was the daughter of the late George D. and Mattie Mae Mitchell Davidson. She was educated in the schools of Bibb County, Ga.
Retired from Eddie’s Deli, she had also worked at Parrish Bakery and was the former owner of Jay’s Restaurant. She was a member of Milford Hills Baptist Church and the Salisbury Moose Lodge.
Her husband, Edward Oulton Pinkham, died in 1982, and a daughter, Arlene Foster, died in 1995.
Survivors include sons Charles L. and Clarence B. Fellows, both of Salisbury; daughters JoAnn Gaither, Woodleaf, Virginia Kraemer, Piscataway, N.J., Clarise Spires, Hickory, Martha Bostian and Debbie Mesimer Insley, both of Salisbury, Sharon Sealey, Charlotte, and Claire Snider, Richmond, Va.; brothers Jim Davidson, Jupiter, Fla., and Joe Davidson, Macon, Ga.; sisters Frances Davis, Macon, Ga., and Betty Emory, Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Lyerly Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Carroll Robinson, pastor of Lebanon Lutheran Church. Burial, City Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of daughter Debbie Mesimer Insley, 106 Yorkshire Drive.
