  	Obituary GOODMAN, Carolyn Joan (nee Downing) Monday, May 5, 2003, Carolyn Goodman, more than just a wife and best friend to Barry Goodman, more than just a mother, and mentor to Bradley. Carolyn never wanted to stand in the spotlight, instead she quietly stood in the background and allowed others to accept the applause. Always a lady, Carolyn was our Light. Dear sister of Diane Gavin of Ottawa and Jean Downing of Vancouver. Daughter of the late Burton and Elva (nee Potter) Downing. Carolyn will be fondly remembered by father and mother-in-law John and Elsie Goodman. A Family Service will be held at a later date. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Socity would be appreciated.
