Obituary
WILBUR, CLIFFORD WILLARD - 1940-2014 - The death of Clifford W. Wilbur, age 74, occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 17, 2014. He was the son of the late Willard Wilbur and the late Vesta (Tingley) Wilbur. Clifford will be sadly missed by his wife, Lana (Fullerton) Wilbur, and two daughters, Shelley Despres (Hubert) of Riverside-Albert and Krista Reid (Scott) of Hillsborough, brother, Angus Wilbur (Mary), of Riverview and sister, Linda Brewster (Russell Lyman), of West River and grandchildren, Devon and Chelsey Despres and Quinn and Cadence Reid. He is predeceased by his parents, Willard Wilbur and Vesta (Tingley) Wilbur, and an infant brother, Lloyd.Before retiring, Clifford was employed as a maintenance supervisor for School District 2. He proudly served as Fire Chief for the Riverside-Albert Fire Department for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, joyriding in his golf cart and, most importantly, spending time with his loved ones.
The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 2:00pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clifford's memory can be made to the Riverside-Albert Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of one's choice.
