David John Tingley 1950-2008 David John Tingley, 57, of Hopewell Hill passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2008. He was born in Moncton on December 26, 1950. David was lovingly raised by Wilfred and Nora Tingley and resided in Hopewell Hill. He was a member of the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church. David worked as a janitor for the Riverside Consolidated School and also worked in the woods. He will be deeply missed by his two sons, Glenn Tingley (Tanya) and Jason Tingley (Loretta) both of Hillsborough; daughter, Amanda Sopha (Jamie)of Stanley; his seven precious grandchildren; sisters, Cindy Stevens (Roger) of Truro and Pearl Steeves (Bernie) of Hillsborough; brother, Clinton Tingley of Hopewell Hill. Besides Wilfred and Nora he was predeceased by two sisters and a brother. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Paul Steeves and Pastor Terry Branscombe conducting the service. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill in the spring. Donations to the Hopewell Hill Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
