Arthur Vienneau
Cap-Pelé
Arthur Vienneau, 92, of Foyer O' Bons Soins, Shediac, and formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born January 15, 1917 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Sylvain and Justine (Melanson) Vienneau. Arthur was a retired lobster fisherman and purchaser for National Sea Products, a past member of the Fisherman's Loan Board, past president of the Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club, and a Veteran of W.W. II. He is survived by is wife of 68 years, Delphine (Gaudet) Vienneau, a daughter, Suzanne (Daniel Brun) of Dieppe; a son, Joseph (Kathy) of Winnipeg; two grandchildren: Luc and Nathalie. A sister, Lina and two brothers: Adrice and Lionel predeceased him. Resting at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday morning from 9:30 until departure (10:25).
