Mildred Chapman Harris 1915 - 2005 The death of Mildred Chapman Harris, widow of James A. Harris of Reade Street, Moncton, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 27, 2005. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Chapman) Dixon. Mrs. Harris retired, several years ago, from the Number 5 Supply Depot after many years of service. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by one nephew, Jim (Cindy) Dixon of Moncton; one niece, Jean (Yvon) Gauvin of Riverview; two grandnephews, Curtis and Brennan both of Moncton; and two grandnieces, Monika and Karen both of Moncton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James in 1979; one brother, John Dixon; and one cousin, Molly Dixon. Resting at Cadman's Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton Tuesday, March 29 from 7 to 9 pm. By request there will not be a public funeral service. A private family graveside committal service will be held later in the spring. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton. Donations in Mrs. Harris' name may be made to the memorial of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton.
