My name is Candace Lorraine Barrick. My father is E. Eugene Barrick. He is the son of Josephine and Nimrod Barrick II, son of Julia and Nimrod Barrick I, son of Alpheus and Minerva Barrick, son of Isaac (I) and Eleanor Barrick.
I am doing family history research, looking for descendents of Jesse T. Barrick. Jesse was the half-brother of Alpheus. His nephew Isaac (II), who enlisted in the Civil War with Jesse, was the oldest son of Alpheus.
Jesse Barrick was born in 1841 in Ohio. He died in 1923 in Pasco, Washington. His father, Isaac Barrick from Virginia, died Dec. 13, 1880 in Rice County, Minnesota. His mother was Mary Glass. Jesse had six children including a son named Lewis E.Barrick, born about 1869, who lived in Oakland, California. He also had a son named Harry L. Barrick, born about 1886, who lived in Seattle, Washington. His daughters were Dorothy Garwood (b.1866) of Pasco, Washington and Alice L. Fairfield (b.1874) of Everett, Washington. He lived with Dorothy Garwood at the time of his death. We know nothing further about them.
Jesse T. Barrick was honored on Nov. 11, 1998 in Pasco, Washington as a Medal of Honor recipient with a new military-issue headstone.
The residents of Pasco were unable to locate any descendants of Jesse T. Barrick.
Are you related to Jesse T. Barrick?
