Isabelle Gallant-Owen
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, of Isabelle Gallant-Owen, wife of Lorne Owen of Bayview Drive, St. Eleanors, at the age of 53 years. She is the daughter of the late Arsene and Aline (nee Arsenault) Gallant. Besides her husband, Lorne, she is survived by daughter, Melissa (Jason) Compton, of Summerside and by a son, Justin (Julie), of Summerside and by three grandchildren, Alexis, Emma and Teegan, also by brothers, Vincent Gallant, of Miscouche, Roderick (Melina) Gallant, of Slemon Park and a sister, Geralda (friend Ralph Dawson) Arsenault, of Wellington, sisters-in-law Sandra (Mike) Owen of Summerside, Shelley (Gary) Stewart of Emerald and a brother-in-law, Roy (Linda )Owen, of Kensington. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Faustina, and mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Jean Owen. She is a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Friday, then to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Prince County Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated. Entombment will be in the church receiving vault.
