  	Obituary Wednesday, September 18, 1996 - Pictou Advocate, page 15 - E. (Raymond) Robertson, 90, Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Kenzieville, died Sept 9 1996 in the Villa. Born at Barney's River Station, he was a son of the late John James and Colena (Cameron) Robertson. He spent most of his working years mining at Pickle Crow, Elliot Lake, Ontario; having returned to Pictou County after his retirement. He was a member of Barney's River Presbyterian Church. He is survived by sisters, Sophia (Mrs. Anthony Akromas), Ridgefield, Conn.; Colena, Milton, Ontario; half brother, Charles, New Glasgow; half sisters, Evelyn (Mrs. Willard Snider), Regina (Saskachewan); Jean (Mrs. Alfred Ray), Kitchener, Ontario; Isabel, Mayne Island, British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Arthur, Gerald; sisters, Dorothy, Ethel. Funeral was Sept. 12 in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with burial in Hattie Cemetery, Avondale [from Marsha MacKay][also in Halifax Herald, 11 Sep 1996]
