Unknown Newspaper - February 18, 1945 - Presumed Killed - Word has been received by Mrs. Elizabeth Ritchie that her husband, Pte. Donald Murray Ritchie, who has been missing since June 7th (1944), has now, for official purposes, been presumed killed in action on June 11 (1944). He went overseas in November 1941, with the No 7 General Hospital Unit, later transferred to the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in which he was serving at the time of the casualty. He was the son of Mr. William Ritchie and the late
Mrs. Ritchie, King Street (New Glasgow.)
