Pretty Wedding Solemnized At New Glasgow - New Glasgow -

On Friday, October 7, at 2 o'clock, the marriage of Emma Kenny, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Robertson, Barney's River Station, and Daniel Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Robertson, Piedmont, was performed by the Rev. A. E. Morrison at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Manse, New Glasgow. The bride was becomingly attired in a street-length dress of silver blue crepe with brown accessories. Her corsage was of American Beauty roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Janet Robertson, who wore a dress of brown tissue faille with greay accessories. Her corsage was of pink roses. The groom was supported by his brother, Bill Robertson. After the ceremony the bridal party motored to the home of the bride's parents where a reception was held for the immediate families. The rooms were tastefully decorated with autumn glowers and the table nicely arranged with a lace cloth centedred with a three-tierd wedding cake, which was cut in the traditional manner, by the bride and groom. Later, the happy couple left on a motor trip throughout points of Nova Scotia. On their return they will reside in Piedmont.
