DIED.
In Hudson, February 16th, 1875, George, son of Jesse and Sarah Strang, aged 4 years, 2 months and 20 days.
All his suffering now is ended,
And the Saviour’s voice said come;
Peace and hope were sweetly blended,
In his words “I’m going home.”
Though the tomb may hold the casket,
Yet the jewel would not stay;
Great the grief; Though God has asked it,
Yet George can’t mold back to clay.
Now his spirit free from glooming,
Roams the paths that Angel’s trod;
Jesus took him; now he’s blooming
In the Paradise of God.
