Nelson, Stephen A. – 57 of Dartmouth, It is with great sadness to say that Steve has lost his battle with cancer. He is the son of Clark and Marion (Hawkes) Nelson. While Steve was looking forward to his planned retirement in the near future, he was able to take advantage of every opportunity to golf and travel. Steve very much enjoyed his work family at Measurement Canada. He will be greatly missed for his extensive knowledge, sense of humor and love of life. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Darlene (Kane); daughter Stephanie (Jeff) Kenny; brothers Wendall, Dale, Joe; sister Mary Reid; and many other relatives and friends. Steve was predeceased by brothers Paul and Raymond. Cremation has taken place under the direction of A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place 1pm Wednesday July 3, 2013 in St. James United Church. Rev. Fred Snyder officiating.
