Paul Eugene Nelson 1951-2010
Paul Eugene Nelson, 59, of Curryville passed away due to a motor vehicle accident on October 23rd, 2010.Â
Paul was born in Lower Cape on April 21st, 1951 the son of Clark and Marion (Hawkes) Nelson. He worked at New Brunswick Bottling-Coke for many years and last worked for the Hopewell Rocks for the past few years and really enjoyed all his co-workers. He was a member of the Hillsborough Legion Branch # 32 where he was an avid darts player. He was a member of the Hillsborough Golf Course and spent many of hours on the course.   He enjoyed hunting and being in the woods of Albert County, he was very proud that he and his father got their moose last season. Above all things Paul was a devoted and caring father and grandfather, always being there for his family. His children and grandchildren were definitely his pride and joy. He was a very special dad and grampy who will never be forgotten. Paul will be remembered for his kind and caring ways and he would want everyone to remember all the good times they had. "Your gentle smile and generous heart will live with us forever."Â
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Clark and Marion Nelson of Curryville;  his two sons, Bruce Nelson (Lisa) of Edgett's Landing and Robert Nelson (Angie) of Curryville and by his cherished grandchildren, Rebecca, Luc, Noah, Dustin and Evan ; his sister, Mary Reid (Doug) of Salem; brothers, Wendall Nelson (Karen) of Brampton, ON, Stephen Nelson (Darlene) of Dartmouth, NS, Dale Nelson (Gaston) of Toronto, ON and Joseph "Joe" Nelson of Hillsborough. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Susan and by his big brother, Raymond. Â
The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27th, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Leonard Geldart officiating. Â
Donations to the Mountain View Cemetery or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.Â
