  	Obituary A memorial service will be held Sept. 18 for John S. Robotham of Eugene, who died Sept. 9 of Parkinson's disease. He was 81. Robotham was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Concord, N.H., to Reginald and Edna Strang Robotham. He served in the Army Air Force weather service and graduated from the City University of New York and Columbia Library School. He had worked as a librarian for the New York Public Library, and lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Eugene in 2000. A member and fellow in the Native Plant Society of Oregon, he enjoyed literature, art, music, nature and science. Survivors include his domestic partner of 30 years, Mary Johnson; a daughter, Joan Robotham of White Plains, N.Y.; a son, Thomas, of Norfolk, Va.; and two grandchildren. Sunday's service will be held at 2 p.m. in the third floor lounge at Ya- Po-Ah Terrace in Eugene. Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Resources of Oregon, 2145 N.W. Overton St., Portland, OR 97210.
