Known to many as Uncle Bill. His daughter, Laura Adelia Davidson,wrote: When Dad was about 16 or 17, he worked one summer for an old Mr.Loggie who was a cousin of his father's. He counted eggs the Indiansbrought in to the General Store and tried to keep them from stealing. Healso sat on the pier and caught a few lobsters while he waited for theboats to come in. When the boats came in he counted the lobsters as theywere unloaded - then added what he had to the lot.
