Obituary
Edna D. (Jope) Pulesky, age 87, of 75A Wells St., Greenfield, died Nov. 29th at the Calvin Coolidge Nursing Home, Northampton, Mass. She was the widow of Joseph Pulesky, who died in 1945.
Born in Medford, Mass., April 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Sarah D. (MacCaull) Jope. Graduating from Randolph (Mass.) High School in 1935, she had been a resident of Randolph for many years before moving to Milton, Mass., and then to East Dummerston, Vt., in 1980. In 1987, she finally relocated to Greenfield, where she resided for the remainder of her life.
She was employed as a clerk typist for many years before retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the Parkway Methodist Church in Milton, Mass., for many years.
She enjoyed sewing, traveling, skiing, swimming in the ocean, and cooking.
Survivors include one son, Paul J. Pulesky of Greenfield, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours at the Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St., Greenfield, will be Monday, Dec. 6th from 6 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Charles Tyree, pastor of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
