  	Obituary DEWAR, Marjorie Elizabeth - 76, Elgin, Pictou Co., passed away on Friday, June 3, 2005, at her home. Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Fraser and Marie (MacDonald) MacKenzie. Marjorie studied hairdressing in Stellarton and went on to work in Stellarton and New Glasgow. She married Rev. Edgar F. Dewar in 1958 and they served in the pastoral charges of River John, Toney River; Springhill, Oxford; and the East River Pastoral charge until 1993 when she returned to Elgin to retire. Marjorie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hopewell. She was a member and treasurer of Clan MacKenzie for over 20 years; member of Calvin A.M.S. and Ladies Aid of Sunnybrae; St. Paul's A.M.S. and Ladies Aid, and Springville A.M.S. and Ladies Aid. She was also a member of Silver Light Rebekah Lodge No. 79, Hopewell. She had a love for all animals, especially her cats, and took great pleasure in tending her flower gardens. Surviving are sons, Chester (Lori), Elgin; Eoin, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Eli, Fort McMurray, Alta.; Jessica and Lane, New Glasgow; and Lori's children, Michelle and Joey. She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Edgar F. Dewar. Her remains will rest in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton for visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, Hopewell, Rev. Gary Tonks and Rev. Dr. J. Kenneth MacLeod officiating. Burial will be in Bridgeville Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Bridgeville Cemetery.
