  	Obituary SHIRLEY L. (STRANG) DUNCAN - BANGOR: Shirley L. (Strang) Duncan, wife of Milton B. Duncan, died peacefully at a local nursing home, Aug. 16, 1997. She was born in Brewer, the daughter of Charles T. and J. Maud (Stewart) Strang. She was known to family and friends as an avid Red Sox fan. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sons, Randolph Duncan and his wife, Janice of Bradford, Andrew Duncan of Bangor; her daughter, Sharon Smith and her husband, Wayne of Lady Lake, Fla.; her brothers, Ross Strang of Hampden, Tex Strang of Brownville; her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grand-daughter, Laurie Ann Duncan. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Shirley L. Duncan memorial fund for the Cancer Clinic at EMMC in care of Eastern Maine Charities, P.O. Box 404, Bangor, Maine 04402. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center S1., Bangor.
