BAYNE, Miriam Christene - 62, Eden Row, Greenwich, Kings Co., died May 15, 1997, at home. Born in New Dominion, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late C. Tupper and Irene (Smith) Strang. She had received her schooling in Charlottetown and later worked for the Bank of Montreal for several years in Charlottetown and Wolfville until her retirement. Surviving are her husband, Charles; sons, Charles, Dartmouth; David, Scots Bay; daughter Susan, Montreal; sister, Joan McEachern, Prince Edward Island; two grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Edgar; sisters, Grace, Charlotte. Cremation has taken place. Graveside committal service 3 p.m. today in Camp Hill Cemetery, Halifax, Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Donations to any charity. Arrangements entrusted to H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville.
