Obituary
CLARK, L. JEAN The death of Jean Clark, wife of Horace Clark for 66 years, of Keswick Ridge, NB, occurred on January 24th at York Manor Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB. Born in Jewett's Mills, NB, Jean was the daughter of the late J. Cleveland Jewett and Verna E. (McCullum) Jewett. Jean is survived by her husband Horace, one daughter Elizabeth (Tony) Nusca of Stony Creek, ON; one son Garry (Esther) and her children Robyn and Gillom of Hamilton, ON; one brother Keith (Olive) Jewett of Keswick Ridge, NB; three sisters, Kathleen (Cedric) Allaby of Moncton, NB, Mable (Leonard) Peterson of New Maryland, NB, and Lois (Ron Grant) Ryan of Fredericton, NB; six grandchildren, Robert (Carol) Nusca of Oakville, ON, Christopher (Roseanne) Nusca of Burlington, ON, Mark Nusca of Stony Creek, ON and Justin (Kellie) Clark and their foster son Andre of Fredericton, NB, Jamie (Kim Stubbs) Clark of Ottawa, ON, and Deborah (Christopher) Walker of Burlington, ON; four great-grandchildren, Madison and Kristen Walker, and Katie and Natalie Nusca; and one daughter-in-law, Deborah Clark. Jean was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Horace and Miles Jewett; and one sister, Ruth Allaby. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held for Jean on Saturday, January 28th at 2:00 PM at River Valley Funeral Services, 50 Avonlea Court, Fredericton (455-4267) with the Rev. Murray MacDonald officiating. A reception will be held following the service. Interment will take place at the Pickard Merrithew Cemetery, Mouth of Keswick, in the spring.
