  	Obituary The death of Mrs. Ruby “Merle” Sobey wife of the late Roy Sobey of Miramichi Senior Citizens Home and formerly of Maple Glen, occurred at her residence on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the age of 91. Born in Boom Road, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna Harris. Merle was a member of the Boom Road Pentecostal Church and retired from the kitchen at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Merle is survived by: one daughter: Joan Ross of Miramichi, NB; two sons: Glen (Theresa) of Barrie, ON; Kerry of Maple Glen, NB; daughter in law: Kathy of USA; grandchildren: Robbie, Jennifer, Kevin (Lisa) and Kirk (Sue); great grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Brenan and Kayla and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Merle is predeceased by: son: Reggie, sisters: Irma, Nina and infant sister: Sarah Louise; brothers: Wes and Delbert. At Merle’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A public graveside committal service will be held from the Maple Glen United Church Cemetery, Maple Glen on Friday at 2 PM with Pastor Fred Williams officiating. In Merle’s memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the SPCA. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi, NB. E1V 1N9.
