      On Thursday 23rd ult. an inquest to enquire into the cause of death of George F. WILLIAMS was held in the Town Hall, Woodstock, Samuel Watts, Esq., Coroner. The jury were William SKILLEN, John HANSON, Jas. BAKER, David JONES, Alexander GIBSON, James McDONALD, Joseph C. ROGERS. Testimonies of John LEE, Forrester McLEAN, Henry FOSTER, Dr. COLTER, Dr. CONNELL, F.R.J. DIBBLEE. The Jury returned a verdict that George WILLIAMS came to his death on Wednesday 22nd May inst., from the effects of a wound inflicted on the brain by a ball fired from a pistol in the hands of William James ROGERS on morn. of Sunday 19th May inst. at Woodstock (see original)
