Obituary
MALTBY _ Helen Kathleen February 8, 1946 to March 10, 2007 Helen entered a new state of being the other day. She died suddenly and from all accounts, Helen was happy and ready for the next day. Never one to sit by and let the real world just slide away, Helen went out and met most trials of life with her "boisterous" laugh. I am sure that Helen is still as eager but now she is enjoying herself in another environ. Predeceased by her older brother, Donald H. Maltby, her mother Jean Alice Maltby and father Donald G. Maltby, Helen says good-bye to her son Miles Morin, her brother Rawdon Maltby and all those wonderful friends that shared her zest for life. She was a presence that will be sadly missed. Helen's life began as a passenger in her family's car heading out west from Toronto just before the fifties. Her early and most adventurous time was spent playing down in the forests and wetlands near Cloverdale. That set the tone for her life. She was always free in spirit and mind. Her ability to focus and to get things going earned Helen a good living. It also won the respect from those that employed her eagerness. Services will be held to commemorate Helen's life at Boal Chapel at 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver 604-980-3451 @ 2pm Friday 23rd of March. In lieu of flowers, donations to be sent to the Richmond SPCA.
