" Robert M. Strang also born at Prince Edward Island, 15 Feb 1836 came to Coos co. in July 1868 and settled three miles from Coquille City (Beaver Slough). Robert's wife's maiden name was Evaline Collier, born in Iowa, Buchanan Co. 6 Feb 1846. Their children were Chas. E. born 13 Nov 1864; Ida J. 10 March 1867; Huldah A., 24 Feb 1869; David H. 22 Apr 1871; Frederick 14 May 1873; Franklin (deceased) 9 Oct 1876; Sarah A. 12 Nov 1878; Geo. L. 23 Aug 1883.
