      Barbara L. (Fillmore) Zolenski, 74, of East Hartford, loving wife of Frank J. Zolenski, entered into eternal rest on Monday (November 27, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on May 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Earl and Bernice (Norris) Fillmore, she had resided in East Hartford for the past 42 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for several years by the Town of East Hartford Board of Education as a Para Professional (Teacher's Aid). Barbara enjoyed helping others and would use her craftiness in making dolls for children at Hartford Hospital for distribution during the Christmas holiday season. Besides her beloved husband of 55 years, Barbara is survived by a son Francis Zolenski and his wife, Cynthia, of Pomfret; two brothers, Albert Fillmore of Bloomfield, Robert Fillmore and his wife, Rita, of Virginia Beach, VA; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, her only daughter, Bernice V. Zolenski of East Hartford, predeceased Barbara in 2005. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be made to the Hartford Hospital Development Fund Office, Attention: Henry Low Heart Center, 80 Seymour Street, P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT, 06101-9960. The D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements.
