  	Obituary LINDEN - R. Layton Smith, 63, of Linden died Monday at home.  Born in Linden, he was a son of the late Ernest and Hattie Anna (Smith) Smith.  He was a lifelong resident of Linden and a member of Renwick United Church.  He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Wood; two sons, Donald, Stewiacke, and Weldon, Bridgewater; a sister, Ruby, Linden; two brothers, Evan, Kirkland Lake, Ont., and Rennie, Amherst; a granddaughter, three nieces and a nephew.  He was predeceased by a sister Pearl and two brothers, Leigh and Lawson, in infancy.  The body is in Mundel's Funeral Home, Pugwash, where the funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Rev.
