    • Bona-vol.3,p.1221-name,b.yr.&loc. Irene-see LeBlanc notes for more -married Marie___ in 1755. He was taken prisonner threedays after hiswedding and was taken into exile on the brigantine ship "Experiment" (captain Stoddard), while his wife was placed aboard another ship. He was cast ashore at St Chrysostophe (a Haitien Island) where he worked on sugar plantations. He escaped...at New Orleans he met one of his brothers...he travelled up the Mississippi where he heard news of his wife from another exiled Acadian by the name of Blanchard. He met up with his wife;they lived in Louisianna where they had four children(one son was devoured by a wild boar while in his cradle). The family went to Mobile, Alabama where they lived until the Civil war broke. Marie his oldest daug married a Creole named Seignou, in Alabama and gave birth to a daug in 1777 named Rosalie(la vieille Tounie)-she later married Pierre Melanson and died of chicken pox in Minudie at 100 years...Andre eventually came back to Minudie where he said his parents had died.
