  Obituary	Obituary Ralph E Tranten Sr 57 died late Monday June 27, 1994 at a Skowhegan Hospital. He was born November 21, 1936 in Madison the son of Ray and Leona(De Hetre) Tranten. He attended Madison Memorial High School. He owned and operated Ralphs Sunoco and Ralphs Discount Tire Store on the corner of Main St and Weston Ave in Madison for 25 years. He closed the business in 1984. For the last 10 years he worked for the S D Warren Co in Skowhegan. He had been a deputy sheriff for several years. He is survived by five children, Harold of Madison, Ralph Jr of Madison, Lynn Tranten of Waterville, Cynthia Nesbit fo Topsham and Elizabeth Tranten of Windham; six grandchildren; several aunts, nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place at Gracelawn Crematory. Friends may call Thursday June 30, 1994 at the Edwards Funeral Home 165 Main St Madison from 7pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 1 at 10 am at Saint Sebastian Church by the Very Rev Georges Plante Pastor. Burial will follow at Saint Sebastian Cemetery. June 27, 1994.
