  	Obituary MacDONALD, STURCHA B. (DOLLY) - 1923 - 2011 - Miramichi - Sturcha Beatrice (Dolly) MacDonald, wife of Vaughn A. MacDonald, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, and formerly of South Black River Road, passed away her residence, on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the age of 87. Born in Tabusintac, on October 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James and Christina (Stewart) Geikie. She was a homemaker and an adherent of St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge. She is survived by her husband, Vaughn A. MacDonald; three daughters, Carolyn Preston, of Miramichi, Vaunda Bateman (Casey), of Moncton, Sandra Williston (Gerald), of Bay du Vin; two sons, Avard MacDonald (Kathy), of Point Aux Carr and Rodney MacDonald (Donna), of Bay du Vin; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Clara McCafferty and Gladys Geikie; three brothers, Stewart Geikie, Percy Stewart and Manford Stewart. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Monday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at 2 pm conducted by Penny Postlethwaite. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of Sympathy, donations to the Miramichi Chapter of the Alzheimer Society, the Black River Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
