    • Obituary

      Mr. Silas TAYLOR, one of the best known and highly respected residents of Tidnish, Cumb. Co., passed away at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. A.C. Reid, Tidnish, Friday, Feb. 6th, aged sixty-nine years. He had been suffering with paralysis for about eleven years and his death was not unexpected. He is survived by six children, two sons and four daughters, Mrs. A.C. Reid, Tidnish, (post mistress), Robert of Winnipeg, Man., Lindsay and Ada of Boston, Mass., Eva of Leominster, Mass., and Mable of Peabody, Mass. Mr. Taylor was post-master of Tidnish for about twenty-five years and a Liberal in politics; also a Fenian veteran. Henry Ward Taylor and Stephen F. Taylor of Tidnish, and John W. Taylor of Kenova, Ont., are brothers of the deceased.
