  	Obituary BENNETT, Raymond Leo "Manny" - 64, Pugwash, passed away June 29, 2005, at his home. Born in Collingwood, he was a son of the late Raymond and Rosie (Rushton) Bennett. He worked in the pulp wood mill in Pugwash for many years and also at Steamboats Garage in Amherst for nearly eight years. He had been an employee of the Department of Highways for roughly eight years and fished lobsters for five years. He was well-known for helping out all the fisherman around the wharf. Surviving are his wife, Eileen; daughters, Brenda Lee (Ernie) Duggan, Wallace; Joyce Anne, Pugwash; Shirley Bennett (Donnie), Rockley; Shelley Bennett (Eddie), Tatamagouche; sons, Robert (Juanita), Amherst; Curtis (Belinda), Pugwash; 23 grandchildren; sisters, Christina (Ken) Grage, Red Deer, Alta.; Ruth (Joe) Pye, Pugwash; brothers, Arnold and Dennis, both of Pugwash; Buster (Tiny), British Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant children, Cindy and Kevin; sister, Betty. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, funeral service 4 p.m. Sunday, both in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, Maureen Ellison officiating. Burial will be in Palmerston Cemetery, Pugwash. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
