      Miss Irene STRANG died suddenly on Monday morn. She had been ill a few days of hysteria produced by sleeplessness and overwork in her father's store and died so suddenly of heart trouble that the watcher of her bedside did not know when she passed away.

      It is with regret we record the death of Irene STRANG d/o E.A. STRANG, Esq., merchant, Chatham (North. Co.) She was attacked with spinal meningitis about a week ago. She expired at 4 o'clock on Monday morn. The only surviving daughter, Mrs. HARRIS is expected home from Ontario this week.
