OBITUARY
John E. Winters
Upper Clements - John (Jack) E. Winters, 33, Upper Clements, Digby County, died Saturday, in Deep Brook, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Amherst, he was a son of Harvey Trenholm and Bessie (Warren) Winters. He had been employed as a mechanic in Upper Clements for seven years. He is survived by seven brothers, Fred, Bill, Frank, Harvey and Hance, Louis and Carl; three sisters, Nora (Mrs. Gerald Goodwin); Vera (Mrs. Clifford Allen) and Rose (Mrs. Melvin Ripley). He was predeceased by a sister, Josephine. The body is in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in St. George's Church Cemetery Parrsboro, at a later date.
